Cheyenne is a seasoned practice coach with a special focus on small practice operations and revenue cycle. Known for her uncanny ability to cut through the noise and identify the real issue, she brings more than 25 years of healthcare management and consulting experience to every engagement. Workflow analysis and redesign are her gift — she thrives on untangling processes and retooling them into streamlined, efficient systems that work for both patients and staff.

Over time, Cheyenne recognized that many of the challenges practices face aren’t one-off problems—they’re systemic. Today, her work has evolved beyond traditional consulting to focus on developing scalable education and technology solutions that bring those insights to more practices. Through tools like The Patient Calculator and specialty-focused training programs, she helps practices improve financial transparency, strengthen operations, and reduce administrative burden.

To stay grounded in the realities of modern practice operations—and to get back to her roots—Cheyenne has remained embedded within a practice, working across all phases of practice management. From systems overhaul and staff training to rolling up her sleeves and performing the day-to-day tasks, she believes the best solutions come from staying close to the work itself.

By blending analytical expertise with out-of-the-box thinking, Cheyenne continues to deliver creative and practical solutions tailored to each practice’s unique needs. Her work spans scheduling, front desk operations, patient flow, surgery scheduling, EHR utilization, and billing processes — always with the goal of improving efficiency and strengthening the practice. While she maintains a limited number of consulting relationships, her primary focus is expanding access to the strategies, systems, and tools she has spent her career developing.

A frequent speaker at national specialty meetings and author of numerous publications, she is recognized as a trusted voice in the industry.

The Brinson Group is a culmination of a lifelong dream that started with a proclamation at age four that she was going to grow up, become a professional and own her own Kool-Aid stand. Raised in a small Central Florida town of 2,000, Cheyenne attended Troy State University in Troy, Alabama on a full tuition, leadership scholarship, where she earned her M.B.A. and B.S. in Accounting. She launched her career at a CPA firm in Birmingham, Alabama specializing in healthcare and later spent fifteen years in Chicago, most notably as a practice management consultant and speaker with KarenZupko & Associates. Along the way, her husband’s career took them to Houston, Tulsa, and Charlotte, experiences that added new perspectives before they eventually settled in the North Georgia mountains.

Helping physicians and managers solve their toughest challenges remains one of Cheyenne’s greatest joys. After trading high-rise living for a house in the woods, she now enjoys a slower pace of life in the mountains. When not traveling for work or enjoying time with her husband, Cheyenne loves Alabama football games, visiting family, relaxing at the river, off-roading in their UTV or Bronco, and enjoying a good “fruity” martini, which are, basically, Kool-Aid for adults. Some things never change.
